Please note, however, that this Policy does not apply to the following situations:

  • Information collection practices of third-party advertising or promotion service providers.
  • Third-party services integrated or linked in our products (such as Google Play Services, Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Apple Sign-In, third-party payment channels, etc.). These services are independently operated by third parties, and we cannot control their information processing practices. We recommend that you read their privacy policies before use. We are not legally responsible for third parties' collection of your information.
  • Information you voluntarily disclose to other third parties.
  • Other products and services not provided by Orange GO.

3. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

3.1 Basic Definitions

  • Personal Information: Data that can identify your identity or reflect your activity trajectory, alone or in combination with other information, including but not limited to email address, account number (uid), IP address, device identifier (random ID generated by the client), connection logs, etc. The specific scope of collection is as set forth below.
  • Sensitive Personal Information: Information that, if leaked, illegally provided, or misused, may endanger personal and property safety, and may easily lead to damage to personal reputation, physical and mental health, or discriminatory treatment, including account passwords, payment transaction records, coupons, etc. Please carefully consider before providing such information.

We collect and use your information only based on the following business scenarios. If you refuse to provide it, you may be unable to use the corresponding features:

(1) Account Registration and Login

  • Email Registration: You need to provide your email address, password, and verification code to create and protect your account.
  • Third-Party Authorized Login: When you log in using your Google or Apple account, we will obtain the public information you authorize (such as nickname, avatar, unique identifier) to identify your user identity and provide you with acceleration services.
  • The above information will continue to be authorized for our use during your use of the service. After you cancel your account, we will stop using and delete it.

(2) Core Acceleration Service

  • To enable one-click connection, intelligent route selection, and real-time network monitoring, we will collect: IP address, device name/model and platform, connection session information (authentication time, session identifier, node used), traffic usage (upload/download bytes), and connection logs.
  • Risk Control and Security Prevention (Anti-Fraud): To prevent batch malicious registration and other behaviors, and to ensure platform fund and resource security, we will combine device identifiers, IP addresses, and code issuance and login behaviors for frequency limiting and anomaly monitoring, so as to take corresponding restrictive measures.

(3) Customer Service, Complaints, and Refunds

  • When you contact customer service, submit a complaint, or apply for a refund, we may need to collect your registered email, order number, problem scenario description, screenshots, or logs to verify your identity, locate the problem, and provide feedback on the processing result. Refusal to provide may affect the progress of problem resolution.

(4) Marketing Activities

  • When you participate in activities such as "Invite Friends" or "Share for Rebates," we need to record your account information, invitation code, sharing records, and the registration/payment status of invited users for reward distribution and data traceability.
  • If payment to you is involved, we may need to collect your identity information to fulfill tax withholding and payment obligations.

(5) Payment Function

  • Orange GO currently does not provide direct payment within the client. Your subscription is completed on the external official website or third-party platforms (such as App Store, Google Play). We only collect order information (such as plan, amount, payment channel). We do not store your full card number or payment credentials. Payment services are independently processed by third-party service providers.

(6) Service Optimization and Personalized Recommendations

  • We will conduct feature analysis based on your connection habits, node preferences, etc., to recommend better routes or suitable plan options for you. For this purpose, we need to collect your device information, log information, and browsing records.
